I keep getting the Did not connect message. I have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it (version 89.0.1) but i can now get Google Gmail but not youtube.

You can do a malware scan just to be sure.

You can check the connection settings.

  • Options/Preferences -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.
