I'm not an expert so my apologies for any ignorance or "non technical" talk. I've an account on a website. I signed out and then revisit that website as a guest and they says "Welcome Back". I tried to chat with online agent and they know that I'm an existing user. (Although they didn't mention my user name etc but still they know that I often visit their site.) I clear all relevant cookies of that website and even restarted Firefox but still the same situation. Even I tried to use a VPN but same. Just curious how do they know that I've been visiting this website before. Thanks for help.

At the moment all websites accessed through Firefox are all crashing after a few minutes and often a lot less. It is happenig constantly. It started before I updated Firefox today, but has continued after the update. Anyone know what's happening? I'm still on Windows 10 - will that be an issue?

After installing the latest version of Firefox for Windows, if I have 3 firefox pages open (I have pages ungrouped on the task bar), when a download is in progress, it shows a progress bar on each of the pages as opposed to just on 1 page. Was this change made on purpose or by mistake?

Social Security just stopped me from downloading my 2026 COLA on Firefox with an error 400 (bad request), but I was able to do it on Edge. More and more websites, particularly financial and government websites, work with Edge but not Firefox. And when I call their customer services, their first response is "try another browser!" Why do they hate Firefox?

If someone wants me to walk them through an example of the problem(s), I can do that when I pull statements or pay bills on those websites. The worst example is Synchrony Bank, which runs several credit cards I use. You may contact me by email at [email removed]@att.net (put FIREFOX PROBLEM in the title so I don't miss it).

I also have Mozilla VPN, and some things only work when I turn off the VPN, so that may be compounding the incompatibility. Although I am in Eugene (OR), the closest location for my VPN is Seattle.

I've been using Firefox for decades without any problems. Still on Windows 10. The last update 'made' my bookmarks 'disappear'. I can see all the backups, but somehow they can't be reloaded. Worse, can't even reload my own earlier backup (HTML format). I've tried all available tricks to no avail.

I recently updated my browser, and it has a new profile menu, but it doesn't recognize the old profiles I made before the update that were still accessible through the About:profiles shortcut. I can still freely use the old profiles just fine, just have to access them through the old menu. I'm wondering if there is a simple way to move the old profiles to the new menu so I don't get this issue?

When Firefox is updating itself, it can create different profiles and so lose all bookmarks, passwords, logins and everything . And I have to start doing many things again, but can't return the pins I have kept or open tabs in other windows , and this cause me a lot already

I have 2 questions that I want answers for : 1 - Why you give a solution for this matter on your site ( https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recover-user-data-missing-after-firefox-update ) , and not solving this matter in the first place?

2- Are you going to fix this matter and when ?

I am not able to receive mail from a user sending me mail from a gmail.com account. I have communicated with my ISP Optonline.net and they state the there mail process "checks out" and the issue could be the browser I am using, Firefox. The last email I have from a gmail.com sender was 8/28/2025. I have asked two different gmail users the send me mail and have not received any of them. I have cleared the Firefox cache but that did not correct the issue. I come to you to figure this issue out and hopefully solve it.
