対策として「アカウントを削除して、新たに設定しダウンロードを提案されました。この方法で復活するでしょうか

I am trying to re-install THUNDERBIRD I have done this several times before but Google is causing problems When I reenter my Name email address and password Thunderbird finds the email but then it takes me to google and I have to click allow but then it takes me back to the email install and then tells me it cannot find the Email address with the settings

THE SAME SETTINGS IN FOUND 1 MINUTE EARLIER

I have 2 email addresses and it does the same with both so Thunderbird does not now work on a Computer that I have used Thunderbird for Years

This happens erratically, not every time. Annoying when trying to select a message to delete and the one before or after or both also deletes at same time. Now I have to go and retrieve it back to inbox. Checked in settings and cant find a solution. Also looked in pad and mouse settings to no avail. Seems to have started in last 2 or 3 months, can't be specific of time line.

My correspondents keep getting shuffled and applied to the wrong subject line in the inbox. It was suggested that I right-click on the folder, select "properties" and then "repair." That clears it up, but only for a matter of hours. Plus, any emails that I have open get closed and then I have to find them again.

One person who suggested that I right-click the folder and repair it said if that didn't work, there was a more technical fix. I need it!

Okay. So, I changed my email password on my email server, HIS.COM (Heller Information Services, a local email server company in Bethesda, MD.) I am able to access my email on webmail, (which I hate to use), on both my laptop and on my desktop. Yesterday, I could access it on my desktop, but not my laptop. Just now, I was trying to uninstall and install Thunderbird on my laptop and it would keep just rebooting my old non-working program. Then, the worst possible thing happened. By screwing around on my laptop program, I somehow knocked out my desktop Thunderbird, and it no longer works. I am happy to pay for help. I just made a donation. I need someone to call me and walk me through this. I think I changed something that I cannot change back.

I've been using Thunderbird for a few months now and it has mostly worked well. Then this afternoon I was reading my mail in the Unified Inbox and I noticed something very odd. I had a number of emails showing in the header list with the same "From" and various subject lines. On the face of it, that wouldn't describe any weird behavior except that I noticed the subject lines absolutely didn't match the "From" information.

As I would go to read these emails, the email itself would be correct in the preview pane -- including showing the correct sender name and email -- but the "From" information in the header list pane would still be wrong.

I'm sorry that I can't post a screenshot to make this more clear because there is just too much personal information on screen. But these emails are from several different senders, received by several different email accounts. Everything is correct except that the "From" shown in the header pane is wrong. This is very obvious to me because I normally run entirely in the Unified Inbox with the emails sorted by the "From" information

One example is an email that is actually from "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs <do-not-reply@notifications.va.gov>" which Thunderbird displays correctly in the preview pane (where I usually read my emails) and if I open the email itself, but the header pane says this email is From "Prepper-co <joshua@prepper-co.com>"

Another example is an email that is actually from "USPS Customer Support <uspscustomersupport@usps.gov>" but the header pane says it is from "Rainier Arms

These two examples were received in different email accounts that aren't even on the same server. I have other emails from these same senders that are shown correctly

I found this problem while using 150.0 (64-bit), which said 150.0.1 was available, so I restarted Thunderbird and it updated to 150.0.1 (64-bit) but the problem is the same.

Thunderbird 149.0.2 trashed my inbox emails on iMac Sonoma. Need to recover Inbox, about 2-3 thousand messages.

When I saw it put all inbox into trash, I tried to direct the files back to the Inbox but Thunderbird then deleted all trash. HELP.

I am currently avoiding putting anything into trash.

In my INBOX folder I have a number of subfolders that I use to filter my client email into. Lately I can't remember how to create and add anew folder to the INBOX. I used to simply click on either my account name (IMAP)or the INBOX folder (I can't remember which one) then right-click and add new folder.

Also I have noticed that the dialogue window seems to be cutting off two buttons in the lower edge of the window (see image attached).

Hi have various hotmail and live accounts already active in Thunderbird. Tonight, I tried to add a new hotmail account for my mom. The hotmail account is active and working well using the microsoft web browser.

I tried to add the new email to Thunderbird and in the first stage a green box with a checkmark appears " saying Configuration found in mozilla database.

IMAP box says: Incoming Imap SSL/TLS outlook.office365.com

Outgoing SMTP STARTTLS smtp-mail.outlook.com

username xxxxx.hotmail.com

I press done, and a yellow box appears saying "Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password. Now I did notice on my other hotmail accounts in Thunderbird, the outgoing says: smtp.office365.com and NOT smtp-mail.outlook.com I tried making the new account exactly like my other 5 live/hotmail accounts. Outgoing> smtp.office365.com. And still no go. The new email addy won't connect.

So I thought, maybe it's a bad email or the way I created it. So I created a NEW hotmail email address and same thing. Followed all the steps and same yellow non connect error box appears. The setup in the picture is exactly like my other accounts - and they all work fine. Has anyone tried to add a hotmail addy recently? I never had these issues when I set up the other addresses 4 or 5 years ago. Thanks guys
