Bookmark Mess
Why are bookmarks in Firefox such a mess? You 'bookmark this page' but it doesn't show all the folders. then there's more messing about creating a new folder, which also doesn't show up, then the url gets lost somewhere...... Finally you dump the url in the wrong folder and move it where you want it. This is awful. Has none of the clever writer peoplke seen how CrazyBrowser (infinitely better than Firefox but alas now overtaken by modernity) handles bookmarks?

hi, please just click on the dropdown-arrow next to the folder list, then the foll treeview will be available and you can also create a new folder (see the screenshot)
That has been a point of complaint since Firefox 3.0 was released in June 2008.
You might want to look at this extension - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-bookmark-here-2
It provides a larger Page Bookmarked window which can be dragged even larger and it remembers that larger size.
Hi, No that's precisely what doesn't happen. I get a list of about 5 folders, none of which is ever the one I want. And getting to the one I want is such a pain
