For remembering passwords I once clicked "never for this site" on a site, and have changed my mind and I want Firefox to remember the password for this site. How do I go in and reset the settings to change this?

My Firefox is set up to delete cache, and all history upon closing. But when I restarted my Firefox, or manually deleted everything, nothing worked. Is there a way to reset these? Or do I have to completely uninstall and reinstall Firefox? Even that might not work though.

Click the Firefox button, go to Options | Options | Security and click the Exceptions button. Remove the site you now want to save the password for in there.

Try creating a new Profile. See Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.

You can recover existing passwords, bookmarks etc., from the current Profile and move them to the new one. See: Managing Profiles
