The prefs browser.tabs.tabMinWidth and browser.tabs.tabMaxWidth are no longer supported in Firefox 4.
You now need to use code in userChrome.css

  • Bug 574654 - Remove browser.tabs.tabMinWidth and browser.tabs.tabMaxWidth in favor of CSS
