Today you auto upgrade my browser to 3.16 or whatever. In the process you, trashed ad-ons. Most important Read it Later. My database there most recent lists are all gone. It is substantial.
Also log ins have been trashed requiring re log in to each account. Twitter Brizzly et al.

Uninstall your current version of Firefox, then reinstall it again. It is highly unlikely that your preferences are gone, as your profile never gets deleted when upgrading.
