last update ( 153.0.3) broke my ability to stay signed into or go back to known web sites

Hi, your last update ( 153.0.3) broke my ability to stay signed into or go back to known web sites I have put in the “Exceptions – Cookies and Site Data”. I do clear all the Cookies and Data when I close the browser but now it looks like Cookies and Data is deleted in the “Exceptions – Cookies and Site Data” also. I would love to do a redo on this update and reload the old version. The browser also is showing my PC is Windows 10 and it has been on Windows 11 for 3 years now.

Looking into it. Didn't find any reports and couple of versions tested seemed to work as expected. However I think I can actually reproduce with several versions; trying to pinpoint the date range now.

Okay I landed here bugzilla.mozilla.org/1767271 which indeed includes a migration from one dialog to a different dialog. But that's for v154 release only at this point, as it has no uplifts to earlier versions. So I'm confused.

Testing this between v152–v153 I see it working as expected — the Google consent got wiped, while the exclusion for MDN storage was honored between restarts:
