Endless Captchas- Cannot access my banking site or Facebook. Ready to leave Firefox & Use another browser.
I have problem with endless cptchas -mostly on Facebook and now it began on my banking page - it used to verify via my phone- now it is constant captchas. When I use another browser- I do not have this issue. It is so annoying I may stop using Firefox. I'd much rather have google puzzle. The "no captcha" extensions do not work! I really prefer Firefox, but you need to stop with the captchas and use google puzzle or some other verification method.
Thanks

These human checks are not added by Firefox. They are sent by the site operators so you'd need to liaise e.g. with Meta support over the technology they use to prove identity etc.
As for what influences these, oftentimes "privacy" extensions or settings, like to clear data on exit, browsing always in private mode, or scrambling fingerprint and the like.
Did you check in Troubleshoot Mode, without any addons loaded, that the same keeps happening?
I contacted my bank and they do not create the captchas- the fact that I can log in with other browsers shows it is a Firefox Issue. I did not add any new Firefox extensions and suddenly cannot log into my bank using Firefox because of endless captcha questions? What is going on?
The question was not about addition of new extensions, but disabling existing — as they update almost every day, esp. those "privacy protecting" that pull various blocking rules multiple times a day — you might need to try running without any of these first, to rule out anti–tampering mechanisms of those big platform providers detecting some unusual activity.
When you get one of these the next time, grab a screenshot and attach it here to see who is the provider of that human check…
Thanks for your advice. Well after 2 days and doing nothing to Firefox, the problem went away. Weird- could be an extension i had was updated, had some bugs and was fixed.
