Firefox for Android introduced a new UI recently which replaced the home button with the + button.

That said, we have a plan to release functionality for users to be able to customize the toolbar to show different buttons (with home being an option). Please keep an eye on future updates!

I used to use Fennec 148.0 from F-Droid, but now I use Iceraven 147.0 and am no longer doing updates. Why modernize something so recognizable? Bring the house back!?

With no options to customise, at least please kindly revert this change until there is an option to customise.

also - home button should open sites in the SAME tab. (unique feature from new tab menu)

Just a quick tip from me. As of now, you can actually customize the toolbar shortcut including adding a Home button. You can do so from Settings -> Customize. Hope that helps.

But as TyDraniu mention above, this thread has been resolved, so I'm going to lock the thread as not to derail the convo.
