Is there a new problem with teceiving emails on POP, as they are completely mixed up with VADE Secure techy stuff? (bitdefender)
Starting last night (11/8/25) all my incoming emails (when sent from the UK) are mixed up with tech text from Vade Secure cloud security system. However, 1 message sent for France has not been corrupted. Have you implemeted something in the POP servers or otherwise to cause this, please? An extract from in incoming email is below

You are using bitdefender?
If so, In Bitdefender -> Protection -> Online Threat Prevention -> toggle off the setting Encrypted web scan. Restart computer and Thunderbird.
Are new messages better?
If not, the Help > Troubleshoot Mode?

Wayne, you're a genius! Yes, I'm using Bit defender; went into settings and disabled Encrypted Webscan, restarted, and VOILA! Fied the problem! I've just replied to another Thunderbird user and told him (everyone) of the solution. Gold Star, Wayne!
Solution update posted at 8:48 Eastern time (12:48 UTC) Thursday by Alexlandru_BD, an admin at bitdefender, "The developers reverted the changes made in the last signature update and this should do the trick until a permanent fix is deployed. Just click on update in systray and reboot once completed. But keep in mind this change is being rolled out gradually, so it may not reach everyone at the same time.."
