Trying to import bookmarks from Chome.

I've tried 7 times to import my bookmarks from Chrome into Firefox. Firefox says that the import was successful each time, but the bookmarks aren't showing up in the Bookmark Tool Bar. It's only showing the older import, not the latest. If I go to one of the new pages, it shows that it is bookmarked, but the list that it belongs to is nowhere to be found....

So how do I update to the newly imported "Imported From Firefox" folder?

They're somewhere else... Could you check using the Library window, either:

  • menu > Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks
  • Ctrl+Shift+O (as in Organizer)

In the left column, expand Bookmarks Menu to see whether Firefox placed your imported bookmarks here (once or several times). If so, you should be able to click the folder name in the left column, select all on the right column, and drag them to Bookmarks Toolbar in the left column.

And then you can clean up anything you don't need from the Bookmarks Menu.

Note: If the imported bookmarks are not under Bookmarks Menu, check Other Bookmarks.
