My desktop has a line where you search. I do not have the full line. Missing view history saved bookmarks, home,print, settings screen shot. I have a new laptop two days old. The top of the home page look different from what appears on my older desktop. How do I get the full line. Also the very top of the screen says file, edit, view,History, bookmarks, tool and help. I do i get these features?

The optional top bar is called the Menu Bar. See: Restore the Menu bar in Firefox.

For the main toolbar with the address/search bar, you need to use Customize mode to set it up the way you like. See: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

If the computers are near one another, or you can take a photo of the old bar, that probably would be helpful compared with doing it from memory.
