Cannot send e-mails
My environment - I am running Thunderbird 115.10.2 (64-bit), and Windows 10. - I have had NO Windows updates for at least two weeks.
The problem
- About five days ago, outgoing messages (messages I was trying to send) started taking about 15 to 30 seconds before they were sent successfully.
- Today, I am unable to send messages. I can receive messages.
Actions I have taken
1. I re-installed Thunderbird after using Revo Uninstaller to uninstall it.
2. I contacted my ISP. They checked their settings, and have been unable to detect any error.
Please help!

I cringe every time I hear of revo. just saying it might remove all traces. It also makes post action support nigh on impossible.
Perhaps you would like to share the error message you receive and the mail provider. We know what you tell us. At this point I know nothing really except you have already made support difficult with Revo.

Hi Matt
Thunderbird was working just fine until it stopped sending e-mails today. No error message; no unexpected shutdown -- just a small window that said "Sending ..." for at least 5 minutes before I shut the program down.
I left a message for the service provider, who sent me an e-mail with recommended account settings. They were different from what I had been using for the last three years. I entered the new settings into my system, and everything is fine now.
For now, I am going to leave matters the way they are.
Thank you for your prompt reply to my initial query. Please consider this closed.
Thank you again.
Ken
