Import bookmarks from another PC

Hello, i will try to write in english, not my best because im spanish.

Recently bought another PC, and i want to import my bookmarks from another PC to this one. I have read that i can do this via Firefox Sync, login in with my account and click in "Sync now" (Sincronizar ahora in spanish)... But i did and i dont have any of my bookmarks from the other PC.

If im doing something wrong or this is possible other way, please lemme know!

Hola, Hay varias formas: 1) Ubicando la carpeta de perfil del Firefox y copiando el archivo places.sqlite al nuevo Firefox (se copia marcadores e historial) 2) Ídem pero copiando la carpeta bookmarkbackups en el nuevo Firefox e importando estos marcadores. Con Ctrl+May+O se abre el administrador de marcadores, allí tienes el menú importar y resguardar (o exportar) 3) Copiando todo el contenido de la carpeta de perfil al nuevo Firefox (se copiando todo los datos) 4) Haciendo un respaldo de los marcadores, copiando el archivo e importándolos en el nuevo Firefox ver: https://support.mozilla.org/es/kb/perfiles-el-lugar-donde-firefox-almacena-tus-contr

También puedes hacerlo sincronizando ambos Firefox pero esto es mas delicado, ya que el servicio es de sincronización no de respaldo. Funcionaria conectando primero el Firefox anterior y luego el nuevo PERO tienes que hacer un respaldo manualmente de la carpeta de perfil del Firefox anterior (donde están los marcadores)

Hola Gerardo, gracias por la respuesta, pero lamentablemente no tengo acceso al PC anterior y me es imposible copiar/importar los archivos.

Preguntaba, porque supuestamente al tener el usuario, deberia estar almacenados mis marcadores, contraseñas y demas... Y al sincronizar deberian aparecer, pero nada.

Estuve leyendo otros temas similares y a otro usuario le contestaron que igual tenia unaversion algo anterior de Firefox y los ha perdido. Yo siempre he tenido Firefox actualizado, pero no se si habria otro modo...

Hola, Lamentablemente si no tienes acceso a la PC anterior o no tienes algún respaldo de la carpeta de perfil del Firefox no hay nada que puedas hacer, como explicaba anteriormente el servicio de sincronización de Firefox es un servicio de sincronización, no de respaldo, esto es igual para todo tipo de servicio de sincronización sea Ondrive, Dropbox, etc: Si no hay algún Firefox Desktop conectado en la cuenta y conectas un nuevo Firefox Desktop (recién instalado) esto borra los datos del servidor ya que el Firefox Desktop es el que manda en la sincronización.
