Thunderbird 102.4.2 (64-bit) running on Windows 11 Pro (22H2, 22621.755) on a Core i5-12600K with 32 GB DDR5 RAM and PCIe x4 SSD. Xfinity cable Internet with tested 90/12 MBps speeds.

Every time I try to move messages from my Gmail Inbox to a folder, Thunderbird stops responding and exhibits extremely slow performance. For example, moving 36 messages took over 34 seconds to actually move the messages, with no indication of any progress during that time, and the title bar saying "Not Responding". 0% CPU utilization during that time, as well.

There is obviously something wrong here. I'm trying to move my messages from earlier this year into folders to resolve clutter, but with a relatively high-end system like this, I ought to be able to move thousands of messages in the blink of a eye.
