On the pc or laptop there is a map there are more maps. One map is the Mbox is this map still intact?

Do you use Imap or pop? You can try to repair the folder. This is how you do.

Repair thunderbird folder

Open thunderbird go into the inbox -properties -repair folder After that the repaired files and other seems has to appear on the screen.

Is this correct are your mails returned?
