I love Thunderbird, but I just can't use it anymore. Just recently, it times out constantly. It says "looking for folders" for ages, then I get a pop up message saying that the connection to the server was was dropped.

Unless I can fix it, I'll just have to uninstall it, to save what little hair I have left.

Can anyone help save my sanity?

Thanks Wayne. That may be worth a try when I get a minute. At least I'll know if the problem lies with Thunderbird, or if it's my ISP/Windows that's at fault.

last person I saw complaining about timeouts filed a bug, then came back saying it was his anti virus program.
