Hi there,

Just looking for some help. I'm slowly transferring over to Firefox from Chrome but I have two issues both are with Facebook.

On my laptop if I browse through Facebook every now and again (2-3 minutes) I get a complete white out on the screen which eventually comes back. On my mobile if I look at Facebook through the Firefox browser app the picture quality isn't very good and the videos are very pixilated. So whether I look at Facebook on my Laptop or phone it has to be done via Chrome.

BTW has anyone noticed that if you look at Facebook in Chrome and Firefox you get different content?

My laptop is Windows 10 My phone is Android

Regards Steve

All I can say is that Mozilla (staff and contributors like me) continue to work to make sure that the web is open and accessible to all.

What you are seeing is not very open, but one day we hope this approach will change.

Thank you for getting in touch.

Hi

Yes, I have heard about this issue. This is where Facebook is deliberately not providing higher quality content to non-Chrome browsers. Not very fair or open of them really.

There is not a lot I can suggest that will help with this.
