I have TB 52.8.0. I found the archived question "The latest Thunderbird update 52.2.0 (32-bit) has deleted/remove some of my contacts" and followed the instructions. Got the MOREFUNCTIONSFORADDRESSBOOK extension installed. Went to add the address books using Tools/Import/Address Books. The only choices I got were Outlook, Outlook Express, text file, or vCard. I can't figure out how to tell TB to find and load the address books. I've been at this for hours. Help please!

Open your Address Book. Select an address book (e.g. Personal Address Book, or create a new one and select that) then click the Tools item in the Address Book's menu bar. You should see an entry there for More Functions For Address Book.
