In FF up to 54.0.1, it was possible to scroll multiple tabs rows with my mouse's wheel, just turning it up and down.

In FF 55, this is no more available. Trust me, it is a huge problem for some users. Please fix it as soon as possible!

The first step is always to check whether the issue also occurs in Firefox’s Safe Mode. If it does not, an add-on is likely causing the issue, so you need to run the regular mode again and disable them in the Add-ons Manager one by one to find the culprit. You may have one installed that isn’t fully compatible, despite the Add-ons Manager reporting it is. This could be any add-on, not just mouse-related.

Additionally, you seem to have 3 very old Flash plugins installed. Make sure to uninstall all of them and only install the latest version, if required. If uninstalling fails using Windows Uninstall feature, you can use an uninstaller from Adobe. I don’t think it is related to the issue, but you never know.

Old plugins are, of course, not related, but looks like the problem is in Tab Mix Plus add-onn. There are no tabs rows in plain FF. So I should address to Tab Mix Plus developpers.

Please remember that most helpers on this forum are volunteering their valuable time to try to help you resolve your Firefox problems. Let's be kind to them.

That being said, did you try testing in safe mode? The reason we ask for troubleshooting steps is to eliminate variables the most effective way possible

Yes, thanks, after trying safe mode I saw that the problem is with Tab Mix Plus. Will try to report the problem to them. (Update -- it has already been reported by someone else.)

There are other things that need attention.

You have multiple Flash plugins.

  1. Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0
  2. Shockwave Flash 12.0 r0
  3. Shockwave Flash 11.8 r800

You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.

You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove older version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and install the latest Flash player (26.0.0.151).

  • (32-bit Firefox) C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\

You can check the Shockwave Flash plugin here:

OK, thank you, I have disabled 11.8 and 12.0, and will uninstall them later. As for 21.0, I don't upgrade it on purpose. It's a decent way to prevent flash from beginning playing every time a page with it is loaded. And when I need it, i can get it played.

If the question owner had remained as friendly as now and acted according to the forum rules and guidelines, I would have asked if he had Tab Mix Plus installed and probably included it’s a known issue already solved in its recent dev version, but he might have found out himself.
