I know there are emails on my Gmail account. I can't get them to load into Thunderbird. It was fine, now not working.
I was downloading messages after being gone for a week on my computer. It was downloading 3 then I'd have to hit the get messages button again and it would do 3 more. Then all of a sudden it says there are no new messages to download. I know there are because I only have messages to 8/27 on my thunderbird and in gmail I have messages from today. I did not change anything, or update anything, or make any changes. Any idea why it just quit downloading? I shut down my computer and restarted and it did not help.

That sounds like an anti virus program doing a poor job of scanning email.
What are you using?
avg. Why would it change in 10 minutes? At 10 I was getting emails at 10:10 I wasn't.
