The address field no longer works. I can't delete or enter a new site. The only way I can get to anything but "home" is by entering the address in "search".
This problem surfaced two days ago. I can't highlight the "home" address and remove it. I can't enter a new address. If I manage to get an address typed in, the "enter" key doesn't bring up that site. I can only enter the site I want in the "search" field.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (3-bar Menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: 3-bar Menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

S You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks, history) in the Firefox profile folder.
