How do I cancel Sync?
People, I don't want to use Sync, but the pop-up keeps appearing underneath my screen. In order to try to cancel it I tried to find the solution in the Help Section. I understood that I had to use Sync first to be able to cancel it. So I registered and then cancelled it. But the message keeps popping up on my screen that the password and/of username is not ok.
So how do I switch this Sync-thing off?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Kind regards,
Paula

You appear to have hidden the "3-bar" Firefox menu button and have the 'classic' orange Firefox menu button at the top left instead.
Do you have the Classic Theme Restorer extension or another extension to achieve this?
You can go to "Options/Preferences > Sync" to disconnect from Sync.

Remove a device from Firefox Sync
Remove a computer from Firefox Sync Click the menu button menu to expand the menu. Click on your Sync account name (usually your email address) to open the Sync preferences. Click Disconnect. Your device will no longer be synchronized. Remove an Android device from Firefox Sync Open your device's Settings menu (not Firefox's Settings menu). Under Accounts or Accounts and Sync, tap on Firefox. Tap your account name (usually your email address) to view the account settings. Tap the menu at the top right corner of your device and choose Remove account.
Dear Ibraham, I cannot find the menu button to expand the menu. Where is it...? (I have a desktop computer).
Click the 3-bar button on the right-side of the Navigation Toolbar.
Dear people, I cannot find anything you ask. Please tell more than 'left of...' or right of....' I added a screenshot of my screen so you see what I see. I dont see a sign of Sinc anywhere.
I did not even ask for that stupid programme. I just installed Firefox after a clean Windows install. And now where is that navigation bar? Please direct me from 'start' of from the control panel. Or perhaps from the options at the top of the screen. Thank you in advance.

Dear Cor-el, you are right about the classic theme.
I went to Extra - Options - Sync and I think I have unticked something and therefore switched off the programme.
Thank you for the help.
