How can I get a map I've created to print full page?

No matter what maps program I use, or what print formatting options, I can't get it to fill up the page. All Firefox gives me is the top third of the page, which means I can't read the lettering. Switching to Safari was an improvement over Firefox; but I'd rather not switch browsers. Thanks in advance!

If you cannot see any content on pages you printed or in print preview, the cause might be margins which are set too high.

  1. In order to check the margins, we need to go to File > Page Setup.
  2. Once this is done, switch to the Margins & Header/Footer tab.
  3. Check what's set there under Margins.

The following are the default values for Margins:

Right: 12.7

Top: 12.7

Left: 12.7

Bottom: 12.7

Check these values accordingly and change them if necessary.

That is good advice if we're talking about a doc, but it doesn't apply to a map created by Google Mmaps, Mapquest, etc. which are a problem in the server, be it Firefox, Safari, etc. How to I get a server-generated MAP to print full-page? There are no margin formatting options. Thanks in advance for your help.
