I noticed recently that my 'Add Shortcut' button has disappeared. I've been through other articles and they were of no help. I have 4 rows selected for shortcuts so theres no reason for it to be gone.

I am running Firefox 144.0 on kubuntu 24.04.3 LTS I have lost sound on Firefox. I have opened the same sites in Chrome and the sound is working fine. It's only in Firefox. I have tried several sites including Udemy, YouTube, and radio programs, no sound from Firefox. The problem started in the middle of a Jit.Si session. All of a sudden the sound disappeared. I thought that restart Firefox would help, then restart the computer would help. But the problem has continued. The speakers is turned on the volume is up, just not a sound from Firefox. What to do?

I just wanted create Account recovery key to keep my account more secure. So I did that + updated my password.

Now when I open the browser, it says account disconnected and that I need to create a new profile. I did that, but it started syncing from old chrome account with old extensions, bookmarks etc. Plus bookmarks from my phone.

I try to sign in and create new profile with the original profile settings that I want. But it keeps saying "This profile was previously synced to a different account". And now that I saved the bookmarks and made a third, fourth profile. Those don't work as it wants me to sign in. Only the 2nd profile that Firefox made me create which has the old extensions, bookmarks etc. It is missing a lot. So now I am just stuck in create profile loop. And cant use the one I want because I wanted more security? Do I need to uninstall and install again, would that help? I wish there was someone to talk to help me. I just want to use my original profile that I used earlier today to update the security settings.

Why doesn't Firefox recognize my correct location? It gives me the weather for Chicago, IL on my homepage. I don't live in IL. MS Windows and Edge have my correct location, so why doesn't Firefox?

I have tried to change weather location on my Firefox homepage by putting in the correct town and state, then hitting the search icon but nothing happens, although once I was redirected to the AcuWeather site.

This is not that big a deal as I can get my weather on my Samsung phone, but it is puzzling.

I am not sure what to do first. I already paid for the VPN subscription. I reinstalled Mozzilla VPN but have not yet put the sudo lines in that are listed in the help on Firefox. Can you send me an email with instructions and any special sudo lines I need to intall so I do not get charged a second time. I heve the recovery code. I am new to Mint. Windows 11 started knocking out my hardware with power surges. Had to come from the operating system itself since the machine is hooked to a power backup that smoothes the current out. Hello, I simply need to update my email, however find no option to update it. Desktop Raspberry Pi 5 desktop OS Firefox Browser 141.0 (aarch64), Mozilla Firefox for Raspberry Pi OS, raspberrypios - 1.0 Here's what I see: attachment.

I'm running the current version (144.0, 64-bit) on a Dell Inspiron laptop. Just now, I tried to save a bookmark, but I found that a goodly number (not all) of my bookmark folders had disappeared. When I tried to restore from a Firefox backup, I got an "Unable to process file" message. What's wrong , how do I fix it, and how do I get the missing bookmarks back?

Just noticed that Firefox only has translation for Chinese Simplified from Mainland China, but no Chinese Traditional from Hong Kong and Taiwan users. Any plans to get it going? I would hate to switch back to Chrome or Edge instead.
