I have switched to a windows 8.1 computer and firefox has problems loading some images and links.

I have been using all the same sites on firefox on my previous windows xp computer. I have tried all the answer pages related to image and link problems. And the same sites work fine in Opera.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox multiple times, Got rid of all the firefox data and even installed different versions of Firefox
