Firefox crashes instantly when I try to open it.

I will click it from Start Menu and it doesn't even open. I tried opening Firefox in Safemode using Shift + Clicking like the directions said and it does the same thing. The program doesn't open, just the crash window after maybe a 1-second pause. This issue just started yesterday. Already tried a system restore and that didn't help.

please upgrade your browser to Firefox 8 and check

Thank you! I had just gotten the update for FF7 but it seems downloading 8 fixed it :). Much appreciated! Who would have guessed it would be such a simple fix ><
