I have the Bookmarks bar enabled on Firefox 4.0. When I delete bookmarks out of a folder on the Bookmarks bar, they re-appear when I restart the browser. It also appears that I cannot add new bookmarks for the most part. Any solutions to fix this?

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
