I have a Firefox extension called Zwunzi 1.0 that I did not install nor authorized to be installed. I have researched this program and found it to be ad/malware. I want to uninstall this malware from my browser but am unable to. All I can do is disable the Zwunzi add-on but it will not let me uninstall it seeing that the uninstall button is greyed out, unable to be selected. Please help me, what should I do? I am using Windows 7 and have Firefox version 3.6.10.

Download, install and update as many of the following as possible until your infections are cleaned.

  1. The free versions of these scanners will detect infections and clean your system; no need to purchase
  2. Different malware scanners detect some malware that other scanners do not.
  3. Some stubborn malware will need to be removed in Windows Safe Mode with Networking

If these don't find or can't clear the infection(s), post in one of these forums for specialized malware removal help:

  1. Read and follow their rules for posting
  2. Follow their instructions to the letter
  3. Be patient; you are put in a queue and you will get a response when they get to your post

Ok, I am trying some of the scanners you posted now and if they don't work I will try getting help from those forums. Thanks.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware got the job done, Zwunzi is gone. Thanks again!
