Why i cannot use my firefox browser on my system

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

When I see posters appearing to have Firefox on Windows 8 and not Windows 7 or 8.1 it is usually because they are running Firefox in Windows 8 compatibility mode for some reason on Windows 10 or 11.

The Firefox UserAgent you used to post this thread appears to be Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0 as NT 6.2 is Windows 8.

If you are using Windows 10 or 11 then see https://www.minitool.com/news/how-to-run-a-program-in-compatibility-mode.html on how to disable running Firefox in compatibility mode.

Hi, it seems that you're in an old operating system (Windows 8). Firefox's latest version you can use on Windows 8 is Firefox version 115 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-users-windows-7-8-and-81-moving-extended-support What exactly issues are you facing there? Some websites might not work on older Firefox versions.
