1. Update Firefox, ensure you are on the latest version.

Menu > Help > About Firefox

2. Sometimes hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem if your graphics drivers are outdated.

Go to Settings > General > go to Performance > Uncheck "Use recommended performance settings."
