Cannot delete attachments

In version 142.0, none of the usual methods for deleting attachments is working for me. From the drop-down menu in the attachments area, "Detach all" saves the attachments but does not delete them. "Delete all" does nothing. Selecting one attachment and pressing the <delete> key does not work. Selecting one attachment and using the "delete" command from the drop-menu does not work.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Michel. I was too lazy to look for bugs. There seem to be more than one that could be in play. Regression is frustrating.

I marked the solution accidentally. "Mark it as solved" is a big button in the e-mail message!
