UID fetch error message, no previous issues till today.
my wife is using T-bird for email and now is getting the 'UID fetch error message, no previous issues till today. She doesnt get a lot of emails so dont think thats issue, she goes through optimum server.

This occurs in IMAP accounts and is an error from the server, possibly a corrupted email message. You might try logging in to web account to identify the message and delete it.
