
Checking password for 10 hours
Hi,
I downloaded Mozilla for e-mail last night as I currently only use IOS on my iPhone and haven't used a desktop e-mail programme for a long time.
It struggled with my configuration settings and when it finally accepted them I clicked done and it has been sat on the "checking password screen for the last 10 hours or so.
Can you help at all, please?

Suggestion: cancel the setup, shut thunderbird down and restart. Re attempt the setup but do NOT include password. That is often the solution. Enter password later when you attempt to retrieve messages.
