Often when I start up Firefox, this webpage opens up with it as well:

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/welcome/14/

There are other variations of this page-- apparently this is number 14.

I am not interested in buying Mozilla's subpar VPN and do not want to keep getting advertisements about it. Is there any way to disable this?

  2. In the General panel, go down to the Browsing section.
  3. Uncheck the box next to Recommend extensions as you browse and the box next to Recommend features as you browse (both must be unchecked).

Hey, yes! I've tried the cache part, and unfortunately I've already set my homepage to DuckDuckGo.
