New login saved on Android not synced to desktop

Hi,

I saved a new login on Firefox Android, but this did not sync to the desktop version. I tried syncing manually on both devices (which kind of defeats the point) and still no avail. The option to sync logins is activated on both devices, so I don't know what the problem is. I have tested this twice (two passwords saved on Android) and on both occasions they didn't sync to the desktop.

I also tested the process the other way around by saving a new login on the desktop and that synced to Android just fine!

Please help.

Hi Dropa,

I've taken a look at the link you sent and can confirm I followed those instructions when I first set up Firefox on my Android in order to link the accounts. I also checked the sync settings on both devices yesterday to ensure that logins are selected to sync, which they are.

I was logged into both devices when I originally added the password to my Android and when I checked to see if it saved on the desktop version.

I have just now logged out and back into Firefox on both devices, pairing the Android with the desktop using the QR code all over again. The passwords added to Android last night did then appear on the desktop. I then tested the syncing again by adding a password on both devices. The one added to desktop appeared on Android but the one added to Android DID NOT sync to the desktop (once again).
