collections lost after symcing

Ive collected an insane amount of pages in collections on my android phone. After syncing this and opening Firefox on a PC which does not understand collections I've lost all these links. Is this by design? I had such a nice recipe for potato asparagus salad which now is lost forever.

Hi

It is currently not possible to sync Collections, but you can still share the tabs to another copy of Firefox through your Firefox Account.

If you open the Collection, you should see a share icon which will bring up the copies of Firefox that you can share the tabs to.

ok, but did syncing to a pc destroy the collection on android or not?

Unless you have removed the Collection or removed Firefox for Android, the Collection should still be on your Android device.
