bookmarks missing from mac and iphone
I just installed firefox on my mac i had firfox on my iphone with all my bookmarks now they have gone from both devices ?

Create a new profile as a TEST to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem. Never work with original files.
Did you use Firefox before on that Mac?

I trannsfered my safari book marks over to firefox

yes i did but when i turned my laptop on firefox was gone i had to reinstall it again with the same results
Note that you can lose bookmarks if you have used the profile before with a newer Firefox then you currently use. In that case places.sqlite might be renamed to places.sqlite.corrupt and a new places.sqlite is created.
