I cannot open the installation window. firefox wasn't working so I've uninstalled it and now i'm trying to get it again and it simply will not open the installation window. Clicking and clicking and nothing! GRR

Try downloading the full offline Firefox installer from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
