How do I change the hover color when hovering over tabs, bookmark bar items, etc?

It shows black text on dark gray background. Very hard to see! Changing themes does not help. I just installed FF too. Why would this be the default, and how can I change it.

There are add ons that can customize these options however the best answer I have seen to customize this feature is mentioned here: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2718941

Can you attach a screenshot?

  • Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
  • Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB

What Windows theme are you using? Is that an (inverted) High Contrast theme or a normal theme?

Actually it was my windows theme. I selected a different one and all is well.
