Currently I must sign on to Frontline Education to see if there are any new substitute teaching job offers available 24/7. I would like to receive audible notifications on my Macbook Pro or Apple ipad or Apple iphone to alert me to a new job offer so that I can then go to my device and look at the job offer. Thank you. I tryed Firefox 115.8.0esr and 115.9.0esr 32Bit on Windows 7. (78.15.0 works) Firefox crashes(the whole program, i mean no tab) on "about:support" or some pages on support.mozilla.org like https://support.mozilla.org/de/kb/firefox-leistungseinstellungen always reproduceable.

I disabled all Addons, i disabled this power optimizion setting, removed usercrome.css same. With Firefox savemode it dont crash. Spyware is blocked, means datareporting/telemetry/ping by disabling the options and empty the urls (like on FF 78 but it dont crash). Somewhere i read firefox can crash on a empty url, but i assume its fixed long time ago. A wrong, unreachable or empty url should not crash on well programming. Think about countrys that blocks urls, adblocker, pihole and so on. I dont remember about what url i read.

Does the savemode revert all about:config settings? What does support.mozilla ask the browser that causes the crash? It know it seems to identify the Browser, but usual its done by useragent and no "internal" communication.

Then FF always crash on ebay.de search if you scroll or change settings while the page is not ready. Spyware is too blocked by Hardware, ebay may wait for some ad? But thats already on FF78 but on 115 it seems more often, this was not with FF 52. But some sites including ebay stops to work with FF52/78 so no choice.

I'm encountering some difficulties with my current account, which is locked out. I had to create a new account just to post this question because my original account got locked out. This happened because I recently acquired a new phone and didn't transfer the two-step authentication information to my new device.

Okay, I give up. So, Facebook is or has implemented this Turn on two-factor authentication or whatever it is. What this means for me at the moment is that I am unable to access my Facebook account as it is now forcing me to use this Two-factor authentication thingie, despite that I do not have a mobile phone. (yes, I know it's unusual in this day of age not to have one. I did have one at one time, but for the moment I have no interest in getting another one). I would rather use my laptop anyway.

Doesn't Firefox have a Two-factor Authentication thing that I can use with Facebook? Without a mobile phone using the Firefox browser on a computer or laptop?

Now, from what I can see, Facebook is offering 3 ways of doing this. #1) Authentication app, like Google Authenticator or Duo Mobile. #2) Text message (SMS). #3) Security Key. So, because I do not use or have a mobile phone, I was guessing that my option would only be #1 Authentication app, like Google Authenticator ... which I have never used before, and while reading up on it, I keep reading that I can only use it with the Google Chrome browser?!? If that wasn't bad enough, I typically use Microsoft Outlook, not Gmail. So, I am at a loss at this point.

Again, I do not have a mobile phone. Doesn't Firefox have a Two-factor Authentication thing that I can use with Facebook? Without a mobile phone using the Firefox browser on a computer or laptop?

Last night I made the mistake of clicking a sketchy link on twitter thinking what it was some meme site( the person who tweeted is someone I know personally so I thought it was safe) once I clicked on it, I wasn’t redirected to the site so I thought it was weird then once I learned that he deleted it because it was compromised. I got scared and I was running scans through Microsoft defender. After the full scan it said that it detected Trojan:HTML/Phish!pz and the affected files where C:\Users\….\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\cq0glqqq.default-release\cache2\entries. I deleted my cache a few hours later than I should.

So I reached out to a friend and they told me that it was probably was a false flag and I didn’t need to delete my cache. But I’m nervous that it’s an actual threat and I should do more to ensure my computer is completely safe. Also probably a lot of grammar mistakes I haven’t slept since I got this information.

I need to change my email address. The old email address is disabled and doesn't work. I have a new email address *email*@gmail.com and can't get a code from the old one which doesn't work anymore. What do I do.

I am having trouble pinning any Extensions to my toolbar. When i click on the Extensions icon (puzzle piece), the Extensions menu immediately pops up. My extension (Bitwarden) is set to "Enabled". When I click on the three horizontal dots, however, the only options are 1) Remove, 2) Report, or 3) Manage. There's no option given to pin the extension.

Because of that, the extension basically never opens, and I am unable to use it. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance.

I am running Firefox 129.0.2 (64-bit) in Windows 11 on a Surface tablet. FWIW, the extension is running fine in Chrome.

I have Fire fox 4 and I wish to upgrade to Fire fox 5 or 6 , is this free? and if I do upgrade will I lose my bookmarks ? ....... I want to upgrade ! .... fire fox has improved my computer speed ....alot .........GREAT PRODUCT ...... I've been trying to watch live sports events on SECN+ through my Hulu subscription, but I'm encountering an error message stating, "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported." I discovered that Firefox is blocking the stream, while it works perfectly on Chrome. With the college football season and other sports events approaching, I’m concerned that if this issue persists, I may have to stop using Firefox, which I've relied on for over two decades. Please help me fix this issue at your earliest convenience. Thanks.

I've written this back in March of 2024 about Being Managed By Your Organization but after reading all the ones that state "Resolved" I still don't get it! I'm using Win 10 Pro 64 Bit Enterprise and everyday or any time I reboot I have to go into the registry to find Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies and delete Mozilla which the key shows ImportEnterpriseRoots. Now I'm running Avast Premium Security and have dealt with it from what I read about anti virus programs. When it comes to going into C:\Programs\Mozilla\ it doesn't show a folder called Distribution (not sure if that is the correct name but close enough to delete some jason file. I need some plain simply answer to resolve this daily problem.If you need more information please ask since I'm at my whits end dealing with this idiotic injection where even MircoShaft thinks I'm being managed *Some settings are managed by your organization? What organization since I don't have one. Please help a senior at 74 get this resolved.

Firefox is refusing to open sites I am trying to access from links in my protonmail email account. It is giving me a message saying the sites are potential threats. "pdpwbj.clicks.mlsend.com" is what it tells me is the problem.

This is something I do everyday without issue. It isn't limited to one source of emails/websites - it is all of them.

I have cleared cache and history already. Help please as I need to access these websites for my work and having to go to all the individual websites and then to search for the linked content is taking a lot of time I don't normally use because I can just load using the links.

It seems since the latest update to FireFox (129.0) I am no longer able to pick a search engine to use, I can click on DuckDuckGo or any other choice for a search and no search engine will come up?? Thank You for any help or suggestions.

You can check for issues with Enhanced Tracking Protection. Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content.

   click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection 

the sheild has a slash thru it saying "enhanced tracking is off for this site" when i put my mouse over it.

On my food menu website (https://cavamenuprice.com/cava-menu-waldorf-md/), I’m encountering an issue in Mozilla Firefox where the menu layout appears misaligned and some images are not loading correctly.
