Why is it when I do a file upload it does remember the last folder I uploaded from?
Recently when I upload files into my email it does remember the last folder I uploaded from? I have to reclick through multiple folders to get back to the one file folder where I was last. This is new. The only changes I have done is updated to the latest Mozilla browser and added the duck duck go plugin.
I should also say I am not tech savvy at all!

This sounds like a possible Firefox update bug rather than anything you did. Other users have reported the same issue recently, so the DuckDuckGo extension may just be a coincidence. Check Menu → Help → About Firefox for an update,
This is a fallout from a security patch some time ago.
There is a fix already being tested bugzilla.mozilla.org/2077656 that should make it to v159.0 in a few weeks.
