I had my Dell laptop crash. I reinstalled Windows 11 Pro 10.0.22000 BUILD 22000. I installed Firefox 131.0 (64-bit). Before the crash I had a Microsoft version of Firefox. Now, I CANNOT get Firefox to save my names and passwords for the sites I access. It's frustrating. What else can or should I do to get this to perform as advertised??? Thanks for any help.

I have been using a usrChrome.css in my profile to create multi-row tabs. (Why cant Mozilla see the need for this with 4K monitors?) The Oct update broke this and I cannot get FF to load the css file that has worked for more than a ywar.

My first name is Joachim and my last name has three parts: "von zur Gathen". Small v and z, capital G. My entry in "saved names" is (correctly) Joachim von zur Gathen. But when an application calls for it, "Joachim von" is (incorrectly) provided as my first name. How do I edit my saved name so that it is displayed correctly? For several days when I log into my yahoo.com mail (using Firefox), I get a "No Internet Connection" error message and a small icon (red, square with a frowny face) that, when I click on it says: (paraphrasing) "Part of this page has no internet connection. Please inform your browser."

This email is me informing my browser!

When I log onto Microsoft Edge, I can connect to the internet with no problem. PLEASE fix whatever is happening with Firefox so I don't have to use Edge or, heaven forbid, Google.

Your assistance will be GREATLY appreciated.

Hello, its not really a question to ask in the community is more a bug in the software system which is firefox,

The bug is after the last update, its october 8 2024 right now so figure wat the last update was, I noticed a big amounts of bugs with looking at videos, they always tend to pause randomly or dont play from the beggining, i promise you its not a problem on my end which i tested by finding that restarting the browser when i encounter the problem can fix the issue temporarly, so when i look at videos i mean - Youtube, twitch, instagram stories. it started with the new update i promise, please check it out.

Recently I have not been able to slide the progress bar in YouTube videos. I have never had this happen before. I tried a video in Edge and had no problem. It is making me crazy.

I'm trying to do my first-ever virtual medical office visit. Using the "test audio & video" feature in the provider's website, Firefox finds the camera and microphone in my webcam, but does not list any speakers. (Nothing happens when I click "Select Speaker".) I only have one device for audio output, the system default, and sound plays successfully in other applications. The videoconferencing site works in Microsoft Edge, which does find my speakers and plays a test sound. media.setsinkid.enabled is set to True. I'm using Windows 11 and Firefox 131.0.

Not come across this before, my wife's PC now only shows roughly half of its header. Previously when she opened a Firefox link the app opened and it opened with a tab in Firefox. As you will see in the screenshot the opened link now appears as a tab in the header. Hard to explain so the attached screenshot should help. The File, View,History,Bookmarks Tools and Help cannot be seen along with half of the search box. No idea what's gone wrong so hope someone here can help.

I have tried all suggestions, including all three steps shown by Google ("enable cookies," "clear cache and cookies" and "adjust your privacy settings," and none work.

I'm using Firefox Developer Edition 132.0b3 (64 bit) which I downloaded just a few days ago. Already, there's an update for it, to version 132.0b4. Each time I open Firefox, there's this popup that tells me that there's an update available and that I need to download it. I'm using Linux Mint 21. I've already visited about:config and changed app.update.silent to true, changed app.update.manual to true, and changed app.update.url.details and app.update.url.manual to fake hyperlinks. Despite doing this and despite restarting, I'm still prompted about the update available every single time I open Firefox. Could someone kindly tell the specific developer who implemented this annoying feature, to please provide an option for Users to not be bothered with such popup notifications?

ps: Why does this website have a white background and not allow extensions to change it to a dark background? I have Dark Reader extension installed, but it says that it cannot make changes to this website. Even uBlockOrigin is unable to. Please either allow extensions to change the background, or at least change the background color of this website to dark. It gets strenuous on the eyes to keep staring at a bright white backgrond.

I'm not entirely sure when this behavior started, but I noticed sometime after upgrading to 115 (ESR) and it happens on Windows and MacOS environments in the same general versions of the browser. Refer to the attached image for clarity, but I'd like to know where to disable/remove the "add Youtube" (and all other suggestions) from this context menu when browsing domains that act as a search platforms. I prefer stripped-down context menus. I do NOT want suggestions of any kind from browser as they are never helpful and just add clutter and interaction that I'm not using the product for.

Where are these settings located? Are they any policy modifications that will remove these suggestions failing a setting to turn them off?

I was playing video on my website and using threejs to render the video over web. It was working on every browser until i opened firefox. On firefox the video is not playing or stuttering at multiple positions and i dont knew why.

I read somewhere on reddit post of how to fix it and got to a solid solution of turning media.wmf.dxva.d3d11.enabled false. media.wmf.dxva.d3d11.enabled When i turn this false, in the config of Firefox. The video stuttering is fixed.

But as am a developer and want a solid solution so that no user can face this issue on my website while video is played. So is there any solid fix other than this through code only so that i don't have to ensure for every user to make this thing false. Can i do this through code? Is there any fix to this issue.

I can login to B of A and do everything except reach the make payment page on my PC desktop. I've cleared cache and cookies per B of A instructions but it doesn't help. I can get there on my iPad's Firefox, however. They said to contact you.

In the past 2 months it has happened around 5 to 6 times. I have around 10 Gmail accounts logged in and randomly my accounts get logged out without me doing anything.

Is it normal, is there an explanation behind this?

Can someone tell me how to enable this? All the instructions I have read online are not available when I look for them. I have one PC where it is somehow enabled and one where I can't figure it out.
