Firefox doesn't open correctly with Windows Virtual Desktops
Firefox doesn't open correctly with Windows Virtual Desktops. I use Windows Virtual Desktops a lot. Every app I use, except Firefox, opens on the desktop that has the focus when I open them up. With Firefox, if the current desktop isn't the one that Firefox was on the last time I used it and closed it, it opens up an instance with a single tab on the current desktop and another instance on the other desktop it was on when closed last with the tabs open from the prior session there. This is very awkward. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable Virtual Desktops on a Windows machine and create at least one additional one. 2. Switch to a second virtual desktop, open Firefox or move Firefox to that desktop. 3. Set Firefox to open tabs from the last session and open a few tabs to random sites. 4. Close Firefox. 5. Switch to the first virtual desktop. Open Firefox. Observe an instance on that desktop with one tab and another instance on the other desktop with the tabs from the prior session. Expected Result: Firefox should open on the virtual desktop that has the current focus like all other applications do. It is very awkward to close the unneeded instance on the current desktop, then open virtual desktop manager and move the originally desired instance to the originally desired desktop.

Hi! Thanks for the detailed steps to reproduce. This sounds like an interaction between Firefox's session restore/startup behavior and Windows Virtual Desktops, rather than a normal Firefox setting.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you test whether the issue still occurs with Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode? Go to ☰ → Help → Troubleshoot Mode…, restart Firefox, and repeat the same Virtual Desktop steps.
If the issue persists in Troubleshoot Mode, please also check whether Firefox is running as a single process/instance and whether Settings → General → Startup → Open previous windows and tabs is enabled.
If possible, please provide your exact Firefox version (☰ → Help → About Firefox) and Windows 11 version. Since you already have clear reproduction steps, this information could help determine whether this is a Firefox bug that should be reported to Bugzilla.
