Deleted the profile I've been running for the last 5 years, lost all data. MAc USer

Sometime between 10PM 7/23 and 2 AM 7/24 I deleted my profile by mistake, and all of the data my browser collected has been lost. Passwords, history, cookies, chat logs, etc. No account sync, or official Mozilla profile until now.

Everything is gone and I don't know how to replicate the steps found in this video. Mac's don't conveniently show you things like deleted user data unless you know exactly where to find them. [|https://youtu.be/JWJwmKLqnZs?si=g_g47eHSwoB8XSL5]

I've already tried using Time Machine, but that failed spectacularly.

Current OS is macOS Tahoe 26.5.2, Firefox 153.0 (aarch64)

Your TimeMachine has the data necessary. You need to restore this folder:

 ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/*

It's too late for that. Time Machine failed not only to make backups of the previous week and month, but also refused to load the ones that did. I tried resolving it with Apple Support's help, but it had them stumped as well.

Then it depends on how you've removed the profile, and/or its data and folders.

The steps in the video relate to inadvertently using the "Refresh" functionality, not profile removal; that functionality intentionally creates a backup.

Profile removal within Firefox gives options whether to keep data or not: support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles#w_remove-a-profile — so depending on that the profile might have just been "disconnected", or completely erased.

If you deleted the actual profile folder in the user Library path and then emptied Trash, there's no backup anywhere else.
