Hi

What happens when you try to view those websites in Firefox? Is there any error message?

Website open normally in Firefox and there are no error messages. I use Mozilla Firefox as my browser on my laptop. Recently (last few days) Dell and Mozilla have been updated with a restart required and since then I have had numerous problems with Acrobat Reader immediately opening a further copy of any pdf document which is already open when I switch back to the pdf document e.g. Gmail, website or File Explorer folder, such that I have had to uninstall Acrobat Reader to stop the problem and permit normal use of my laptop. I also noticed that a new uBlock Origin icon has replaced my previous AdBlock Plus. I haven't myself installed uBlock Origin so I suspect it was part of the Mozilla (or Dell?) update. A few minutes ago I opened up uBlock Origin to find that the "Click to block all pop-ups on this site" had been activated (not sure if my myself inadvertently). I have now deactivated the pop-up block and links now open up normally (so far). I'm still working to resolve the pdf issue. I'm not a techie so would appreciate any possible routes for solutions Malcolm Morton

Hi,

Mozilla definitely doesn't install or uninstall add-ons. I have no idea what might have happened, but you can try reinstalling your old extension.

Regarding Acrobat, it's their new feature: immediately open every file that appears in the Downloads folder. It can be turned off in Acrobat settings.
