HELP! Firefox didn't open my previous tabs and groups and restore session not shown.

I'm sorry to say all my groups and tabs were not opened this morning, and the restore session option doesn't even show up in options! The groups are not even in my history even though I used them yesterday! How can this be? I don't believe they're all gone. I know sessions are backed up... Please help thanks
