I had to reload firefox, after downloading I'm not able to open firefox it loops back to download page. win 10 browser was firefox.

Did you post from a different computer? Your browser reported that it is Firefox, so it's running successfully somewhere.
How are you starting the browser -- desktop shortcut, taskbar button, etc.? Maybe check your startup settings in case those got mixed up:
