Dear all, can you please help? I am trying to login to my bank First Direct. When clicking on First Direct bookmark I receive a error message.

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.firstdirect.com. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

Will someone help me get over this? My contact email [edited email and phone# from community support forum] & on WhatsApp. Thanks Albert

Did you try other browser to verify it's not site issue to be sure? Like Edge, Chrome, Safari?

I tried another browser. Sites that Firefox refuses to open because SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG will open in Opera.

When will Firefox fix this? I have been reading people's complaint about this error for years.
